Ganderbal, Sep 30 (KNO): Residents in several areas ofs Ganderbal district continue to dump garbage along the banks of Nallah Sindh, polluting the waterbody. From the picturesque Sonamarg to the serene Wayil in Ganderbal, people have been dumping waste and garbage on the banks of the Sindh at various locations. This wanton pollution poses a severe threat to trout fish. A resident while speaking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), urged the authorities to take swift action in stopping people from dumping garbage along the water body and establish designated waste disposal sites. Such measures, he said, are essential to protect the public from the looming threat of disease caused by the alarming pollution—(KNO)
